Tune into The Discovery Center’s social media for their Whiskey & Wine to learn all about the sips of science from the best of both barrels, and how your donation can benefit the Discovery Center and the Amarillo local community.

The Don Harrington Discovery Center (DHDC) will be hosting an online Whiskey & Wine Raffle from Oct. 11 – 15 to fundraise in support of the Discovery Center’s nonprofit mission and vision to create moments of discovery for all learners across the High Plains through innovative programs and informal education.

The Whiskey & Wine raffle event is part of DHDC’s AfterDark series – bringing science and discoveries to after-hour learners, 21 and up.

To promote and inspire discovery they will be hosting “Whiskey & Wine Takeover” on DHDC’s social media throughout the week, where the public can learn about the science behind the casks and corks, recipes and pairings, and other fun science demonstrations for FREE!

Tickets to enter the raffle can be purchased online and will go on sale Monday, October 11 at 9:00 am until Friday, October 15 at 12:00 pm. Winners will be drawn at 4:00 pm that Friday.

Tickets are $25/each, and ticket holders can choose to be entered into the raffle drawing for a chance to win a bottle of whiskey or wine. Visit DHDC.org and click the banner on the homepage to buy your tickets today.
