Texas Epilepsy Walk: Raise funds for the Epilepsy Foundation at this annual walk around Thompson Park. (8:30 a.m. Saturday; 2401 Dumas Drive; 713-789-6295)
The Texas Epilepsy Walk – Amarillo will start the check-in process at Thompson Memorial Park Pavillion #17 at 8:30 am. We will gather together and celebrate our loved ones living with epilepsy. At 9:30 am, we will have a brief presentation and then begin our walk to the Amarillo Zoo. From there, you and other participants will be free to wander and explore all the wonder animals the Amarillo Zoo has to offer.
