Repair Project Continues for Bolton Street

AMARILLO  – The latest phase of a trench repair project on Bolton Street will begin Friday (Feb. 3) and will impact traffic.

The repair project will include the area of Bolton Street between Interstate 40 and S.E. 27^th Ave. The contractor will be closing one cross-street intersection at a time to complete work in an orderly and timely manner.

Work will begin with the closure of the work area on the west side of Bolton Street from I-40 to SE 27^th Ave. Two-way traffic on Bolton Street will be accommodated during the repair.

Motorists should be aware of closed intersections, narrowed lanes, posted signs related to construction and contractor personnel and equipment in work zones. Residents may need to use alternate routes throughout the project due to temporary intersection closures. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution and anticipate delays.

Depending on weather conditions, the repair project is scheduled to be completed this summer.
