Dr. Tam has worked in dementia communities for more than two decades, giving her firsthand experience with persons with dementia, their struggles and behaviors and the frustration families and professionals face daily.

She has used that experience to develop her stages of dementia tool. She is dedicated and passionate about helping care partners learn the skills needed to provide for care.

In-person Fire Truck Pull registration: 7:00 am – 8:00 am

LETR Fire Truck Pull Gather a team of 8 and join in the fun! Your team will play “tug of war” with a fire truck in support of local Special Olympics Texas athletes and compete for prizes.
It’s excitement for all ages!  Registration is $300 per team or $40 per individual.

The LETR Pancake Breakfast is a family-friendly event where the community gathers and eats one of their favorite foods, PANCAKES! The event includes local SOTX athletes,
civic organizations, and Law Enforcement Torch Run volunteers, serving you pancakes.

$10  pancake breakfast – 2 pancakes, 1 sausage and 1 drink. Add-ons with an additional charge: Sprinkles, Whipped Cream, Additional Pancakes, Additional sausage, Coffee, Additional Drink-Juice or Water

Thank you for helping me share these educational virtual workshops with special guest speaker, Dr. Michael Gomez, PHD, clinical psychologist. Our speaker has extensive experience in working with children and their families and currently practices in Lubbock.

He will address three areas: Down Syndrome & Developmental Disabilities-Myths and Facts for Caregivers; What does Good Therapy look like for my Kid, and “Why Advocate?” Effective Advocacy and Resource Gathering for our At-Risk Kids.

Join us for these three 1.5-hour sessions on Saturday October 16, Saturday October 23 and Saturday November 6.
