April is National Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month. Pinwheels are the national symbol for child abuse and neglect awareness. The pinwheel represents our hope that every child will grow up in a safe, healthy, and nourishing environment. You can show your support by ordering your pinwheel garden kit from The Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center. Along with your pinwheel(s), you will receive a Bridge yard sign with reporting information. Plant 1 pinwheel or 1,000 pinwheels to raise awareness of child abuse prevention. We encourage families, clubs, social/civic groups, businesses, and organizations to purchase your pinwheel kits today. CLICK HERE to pre-order your pinwheels. Our goal is to sell 1,109 pinwheels to represent the number of courageous children who told their story of abuse at The Bridge in 2020.

More cheesy fun lasting more than just one night!
This year you will have from January 22 – February 28 to enjoy the ooey gooey cheesy deliciousness of The Big Cheese Macaroni and Cheese Smack Down!
Each participating restaurant will provide you with an appetizer portion of their competitive mac and cheese. You can travel and make plans to try which ones you want on your schedule during this timeframe.
(Bonus: Your tickets will be good after February 28 through Friday, April 30th 2021, while supplies last of their competitive Mac, or an appetizer of equal or lesser value.)
Your ticket will also give you some sweet treat vouchers too!
You get to visit and receive all of this deliciousness for less than a dollar a stop!
What’s better than a creamy, steamy bowl of mac and cheese? Oodles and oodles of gooey yumminess will all be yours for the taking at The Big Cheese!
Mac-n-Cheese is the world’s most beloved comfort food and since The Hope and Healing Place is in the business of providing comfort to the people we serve, a comfort food cook off is a perfect fit.
Just as grief can be experienced in numerous ways, the ingredients of mac-n-cheese are endless. You will have the opportunity to try up to 25 varieties from some of the area’s best chefs.
