Coffee Memorial: Community Challenge Blood Drive @ Community Challenge Blood Drive
Jun 2 @ 9:00 am – 7:00 pm

Coffee Memorial has to draw about 100-125 units of blood daily to meet the needs of patients in our service area – 31 counties and 29 medical facilities in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles. About 70% of those blood donations come from mobile onsite blood drives. As businesses are working from home and schools and churches are doing online classes, we have very few places to go to do blood drives thus creating a critical dip in donations. We need new blood drive hosts and sponsors for our blood drives as we are adjusting daily to the COVID-19 challenges. If a business would like to host a blood drive for us, they can call 331-8855 (Dakota Newsom). We also need blood donations…for a lifesaving appointment, call 331-8833.

Our next big community blood drive is Tuesday, June 2, from 9am-7pm at Coffee Memorial, 7500 Wallace Blvd. sponsored by Representative Four Price and Amarillo National Bank! Donors will not only have the opportunity to help save lives but they can also help one of these area non-profits win big (details on the flyer below):
• Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Texas Panhandle
• Camp Alphie
• Eastridge Mission Center (EMC)
• Harrington Cancer and Health Foundation (and Children’s Miracle Network)
• Leadership Amarillo & Canyon
• Make-A-Wish North Texas
• Martha’s Home
• Maverick Boys and Girls Clubs of Amarillo
• Meals on Wheels
• MTK Foundation
• Panhandle Angels Foundation
• Ronald McDonald House
• The Hope & Healing Place
Again, thanks so much!
