The Christmas in October Holiday Market in Amarillo, TX, is scheduled for Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25, 2025.
The event is a gift and craft show hosted by Sharing Hope Ministry at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex in the South Exhibit Hall

- Friday, Oct. 24: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
- Saturday, Oct. 25: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Admission: Weekend admission is typically $8.00 at the door (Cash, Credit, or Venmo); children 12 and under are usually free.
- Highlights:
- Shopping: Over 100 unique booths featuring home décor, boutique clothing, jewelry, and handmade items.
- Bake Sale: Known as the largest bake sale in the Texas Panhandle, featuring decorated cookies, cakes, pies, and specialty mixes.
- Special Events: Past years have included a “Ladies Night Out” VIP shopping event and photo opportunities with Santa.

Join us at the Don Harrington Discovery Center every Wednesday at 10:30 am for a special storytime ~ featuring a very special trunk of wonders! Our weekly storytime will be located in a new and exciting spot in the Discovery Center for your littles to discover during your visit. Start your morning with a story and spend the rest of the day exploring our amazing exhibits! This program is included with admission or a Discovery Center Collective membership.
We are cutting a ribbon at 430pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, for the Grand Opening of SandersFit Rehab & Therapy located at 1301 N Western Street, inside the Tascosa Golf Club Fitness Center. Join them after the ribbon cutting for their Open House to learn more about this physical therapy practice.

NATIONAL LEON DAY
National Leon Day marks June 25 as six months away from Christmas day. Leon is Noel spelled backward and is a day some crafters begin planning their homemade gifts and decorations. It can also be a day for those who miss the winter holidays to have a mini-winter celebration in June. #NationalLeonDay

Texas VLB representatives will be on hand to talk about home, land, and home improvement loans as well as our Texas State Veterans Homes and Cemeteries. Music in the Gardens is a summer concert series hosted out in the Gardens every Thursday night through June, July & August. The gates open at 6pm and the concert is held from 7pm-9pm. Bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket and enjoy an evening surrounded by the Gardens beauty and wonderful music.
