The Christmas in October Holiday Market in Amarillo, TX, is scheduled for Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25, 2025.

The event is a gift and craft show hosted by Sharing Hope Ministry at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex in the South Exhibit Hall

Event Details
  • Location: South Exhibit Hall, Amarillo Civic Center Complex, 401 S. Buchanan St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
  • Dates & Times:
    • Friday, Oct. 24: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
    • Saturday, Oct. 25: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Admission: Weekend admission is typically $8.00 at the door (Cash, Credit, or Venmo); children 12 and under are usually free.
    • Highlights:
      • Shopping: Over 100 unique booths featuring home décor, boutique clothing, jewelry, and handmade items.
      • Bake Sale: Known as the largest bake sale in the Texas Panhandle, featuring decorated cookies, cakes, pies, and specialty mixes.
      • Special Events: Past years have included a “Ladies Night Out” VIP shopping event and photo opportunities with Santa.

    Proceeds from the market directly benefit Sharing Hope Ministry, a nonprofit that provides resources and support to incarcerated women and those in recovery.

Toddler Tracks is for explorers aged 5 and under and a caregiver. Wildcat Bluff will host a nature-themed storytime, do a craft or hands-on activity, and go for an optional nature walk on Libb’s Trail. This program will be held indoors if weather is below 40 degrees. Toddler Tracks is the second Friday of the month with two time slots at 9 am and 10 am. Included with admission, free for members.

Transportation Parade and Community Resource Fair

Cleveland Street Head Start – Region 16 is pleased to invite you to participate in our upcoming Transportation Parade and Community Resource Fair for Head Start Pre-K families. The event will be held on May 8, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Alamo Park.

The purpose of this event is to bring together families and community organizations to foster meaningful connections and provide access to valuable resources. Specifically, the event will:

· Celebrate our students and families through a transportation-themed parade

· Provide parents and caregivers with information about local services and resources that support family well-being

We respectfully invite your organization to participate by hosting a table or booth at the resource fair. Your presence would provide an excellent opportunity to engage directly with families, share information about your services, and demonstrate your commitment to supporting our community.

Participant Information:

· Set-up Time: 8:30 a.m.

· Booth Needs: Please indicate the number of tables and chairs required

· Giveaways: Small promotional or informational items for parents or children are welcome

· RSVP Deadline: April 1, 2026

Join us for the public grand opening of Dinosaurs in Motion, produced by Imagine Exhibitions, THIS SUNDAY with members-only experiences!

DCC members will receive a wristband at check-in that gives them exclusive access to scheduled science demonstrations in our East Auditorium and the Pink Floyd Laser Light show, with unlimited refills on popcorn, so you and your family can enjoy a nostalgic favorite in honor of DHDC’s 50th anniversary.

Members-only Science Demonstrations are scheduled for 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm. Pink Floyd Laser Light Shows will begin at 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 4:00 pm.
