The Savor the Goods dinner series allows local chefs and producers to come together and craft beautiful meals for guests in the Texas Panhandle. Find out how you can attend one of these dinners, meet some of the chefs and producers, and even pick up some recipes and more below.

Upcoming Dinners

For this Savor the Goods dinner, we’re bringing you a collaboration you’ll be talking about for years to come! Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring chef Steven Raichlen, known for PBS favorites Steven Raichlen’s Planet Barbecue, Steven Raichlen’s Project Fire, and past series Primal Grill and Barbecue University.

Steven will be in Amarillo for a special night celebrating the release of his new cookbook, arriving in October 2026. Local pitmaster Tyler Frazer, owner and operator of Tyler’s Barbeque, will prepare a dinner inspired by Steven’s career in the industry.

Join us for a delicious evening filled with great food, fellowship, and plenty of fun. This is one event you won’t want to miss!

Savor the Goods is Amarillo’s best dinner series.
The perfect mix of a cocktail party and a delicious meal provided by local chefs.
We guarantee the event is a one-of-a-kind experience you don’t want to miss.

This evening is a free event open to the public, kid-friendly, and takes place 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. You can come and go as you please, enjoying music, food trucks, and all the artwork from local artists.

Don’t forget to stop and talk to our studio artists! We have 20+ talented studio artists here, who enjoy displaying their art and showing others the talent that Amarillo has!

We also have a large public gallery displayed throughout the building that is changed out monthly. This artwork comes from 60+ local artists in the area, and each month there is something new to see.

Public shows are open to all artists. Information on upcoming shows, submission dates and more are emailed out to anyone who has applied to the public gallery. If you are interested in having your artwork in the public gallery, and getting emails for upcoming shows click here!

We also celebrate our artists by having vendor booths set up, and our gift shop open. Our gift shop has items exclusively from our artists here at AAI. Each one has been handmade by someone who is a studio artist, student, or instructor. You will be buying something truly unique when you stop by.

Our vendor booths are available by request, and are different each month. If you are interested in having a vendor booth click here!
