Operation: Wonder Brings Nationally Toured Magic Experience to Caprock High School to Support ROTC Cadets Headed to Nationals
Amarillo, TX — Amarillo will host a powerful night of entertainment and community pride as Operation: Wonder, a community magic fundraiser, comes to the Caprock High School Auditorium on March 6, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
This special one-night event will feature award-winning magician Kyle Groves of The Amarillo Magic Company, Amarillo’s only dedicated magic venue. The performance supports the Caprock High School ROTC program, whose Cadets have achieved an extraordinary milestone: qualification for national competition in both Raider and Drill events.
The Cadets have earned the right to compete on a national stage in Georgia, placing Caprock’s ROTC program among the top-performing units in the country. Their qualification reflects months of discipline, training, teamwork, and leadership — a rare and prestigious achievement that represents both their school and the Amarillo community at the highest level of competition.
Operation: Wonder is designed as a high-energy, family-friendly magic experience that brings together students, parents, educators, and the wider community in support of these Cadets. The show will take place exclusively at the Caprock High School Auditorium, transforming the space into an immersive live magic experience.
The performance features material from a nationally touring production, with some magic and illusions never before seen in Amarillo. Kyle Groves, founder of The Amarillo Magic Company, is known for blending visual magic, audience participation, storytelling, and theatrical presentation into live experiences that appeal to all ages.
“This night is about more than entertainment,” said Groves. “It’s about celebrating excellence, discipline, and achievement. These Cadets didn’t receive an invitation — they earned their place at Nationals. This is Amarillo standing behind them and showing support in a meaningful way.”
Funds raised through the event will directly support the Cadets’ journey to Nationals, helping cover travel, competition, and logistical costs associated with national-level competition.
