Cultural Currency: Contemporary Art from the Riemer Collection presents the innovative ways artists use money as a conceptual idea and medium to explore notions of value and worth beyond declared denominations.

For centuries, the constant exchange of money for goods and services has been core to our daily lives. We rely on monetary transactions, a quintessential human act, to meet our needs and desires – from luxury purchases to essential items like food and shelter. Given this worldwide phenomenon, consumers rarely consider the aesthetic qualities of currency, which range in various colors and sizes, and designed by artists. As artist Ray Beldner aptly points out, U.S. currency is “the world’s biggest ongoing print edition. Every bill is unique, and it’s numbered uniquely. It’s signed by the person that caused it to be made, the Secretary of the Treasury. It’s made from archival materials. It’s 100 percent cotton. It’sbeautifully done.” In its most basic form, money is art! Learn more

BILL’S AUTO GLASS GIVEAWAY @ BILL'S AUTO GLASS GIVEAWAY
Feb 4 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Good afternoon,

Bill’s Auto Glass has scheduled the windshield replacement for the recent giveaway winner!

Bill’s Auto Glass is one of the longest-standing locally owned auto glass shops on Amarillo Boulevard, built on honest pricing, skilled workmanship, and community-first values. Bill has been a Shriner, supported local families through steady employment, and kept the business independent while many shops have sold out to national chains. Today, Bill’s Auto Glass serves Amarillo and surrounding communities with windshield replacement, rock chip repair, heavy equipment, semi trucks, and ADAS recalibrations — all while staying committed to keeping business local.

Local news outlets are invited to stop by, observe the installation, capture footage, and speak with our team about supporting the community through local business.

The replacement will take place on Wednesday, February 4th, at 12:00pm at our shop, 2403 E. Amarillo Blvd. Coffee and light snacks will be available.

We appreciate coverage that helps highlight locally owned businesses and community-focused efforts.

Thank you!
