Calling young artists and inventors! Immerse yourself in the mind of Leonardo da Vinci– building, sketching, testing, and designing, just like the “Renaissance Man” himself. Hands-on activity tables explore his contributions to art, science, anatomy and engineering. Will you recreate da Vinci’s work, or add an exciting twist that’s all your own?
Included with membership or general admission.
Leonardo’s Lab, a traveling exhibit, was developed by Carnegie Science Center (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) and produced in partnership with the Sciencecenter (Ithaca, New York).

YOU’RE INVITED
HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Dear friends,
The holidays can feel especially tender when someone you love is missing. Whether this is your first season without them or you carry that grief quietly each year, we want you to know—there’s room for that sorrow, and there’s still room for hope.
You are warmly invited to join us for Hope for the Holidays on
Tuesday, November 4
6:30 to 8:00 PM
The Hope & Healing Place, 1721 S. Tyler St., Amarillo
This free community gathering is for anyone who is grieving during the holiday season. Whether or not you’ve participated in one of our programs before, you are welcome here.
Our theme this year is “Tradition and Celebration After Loss.” We’ll gather for a thoughtful evening that includes:
- Gentle conversation and encouragement
- Light refreshments
- Creative, hands-on activities for all ages
- A supportive environment to reflect and remember
Children (with a guardian), teens, and adults are all invited.
This evening also launches HopeGiving, a giving campaign that helps keep all grief support services at The Hope & Healing Place free of charge for the families and individuals we serve.
RSVP by October 31 to help us plan (but no one will be turned away)

(806) 371-8998 ext. 4
Let’s come together and hold space for grief, for memory, and for healing. We would be honored to have you with us.
Warmly,
The Hope & Healing Place Team
