Govology: Indirect Costs and Rates
August 21 | 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM CDT | ONLINE | No cost with code
Indirect costs are a critical component of government contract accounting, yet many contractors struggle to understand how these costs are defined, grouped, and recovered. Without clear processes for developing indirect rates, businesses risk misallocating costs, underpricing contracts, or failing from a compliance standpoint.
Get a practical overview of how indirect costs are accumulated, allocated, and applied using compliant rate structures. Explore common cost pools like fringe, overhead, and G&A, learn how to select the appropriate allocation base, and walk through rate development and analysis to support accurate pricing and contract management. Additionally, we’ll explore when creating a subcontractor handling rate would be advantageous.

Dear Friend And Supporters,
Mark your calendars! Healing Through Him Ministries is partnering with Chick-fil-A for a Fundraiser Night to help bring healing and hope to domestic violence survivors right here in Amarillo.
Date: August 21, 2025
Location: 5544 W. Amarillo Blvd
Time: 5PM-8PM
When you place your order (in person or through the Chick-fil-A app) and mention you’re there for Spirit Night, a percentage of your purchase will go directly to Healing Through Him Ministries.
Why This Matters
Amarillo’s domestic violence rate is twice the national average and three times the Texas state average. This is deeply disheartening — but it’s also why we exist.
At Healing Through Him Ministries, our mission is simple but powerful:
- Bring Jesus and healing to survivors, their children, and their pets
- Partner with local agencies to provide basic needs and support
- Offer biblical counseling that addresses the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of each survivor
Unlike most agencies, we do not receive government funding. Every dollar comes from the Lord’s provision through people like you.
How You Can Help
- Dine at Chick-fil-A on the event night
- Mention Healing Through Him Ministries (or “Spirit Night”) when ordering
- Share this event with friends, family, co-workers, and church groups
Your meal can help change lives. Together, we can fight the cycle of abuse and shine the light of hope in our community. Thank you for standing with us in prayer, in action, and in support.
