Dear Friends and Supporters,
God is truly on the move at Healing Through Him Ministries! We are thrilled to share that more churches are stepping up and expressing interest in partnering with us. These growing partnerships will help us expand our impact and better serve victims of domestic violence and their families.
One of our main goals is the creation of a tiny home village — 20 safe, supportive homes for individuals in crisis. We’re excited to announce that we are now halfway there with the donation of shipping containers! This incredible progress brings us closer to offering long-term refuge and hope to those in need.
We’re also preparing for our Family-Friendly Car Show, and there’s still time to register your vehicle! Bring the whole family and enjoy a day full of fun, connection, and purpose.
And mark your calendars — on Monday, May 19, 2025, we’re partnering with Red Robin for a special fundraising night! Dine in or take out, and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to Healing Through Him Ministries. It is an easy (and delicious!) way to support a powerful cause.
Thank you for your continued support, prayers, and generosity. Together, we are making a difference — one life, one home, one miracle at a time.
Blessings!

Flip the Switch: Center City Gateway Arches
to Light Up Tuesday
AMARILLO – A city landmark highlighting the entrance and exit to downtown Amarillo for more than 20 years will add to the bright lights of the city as the Center City Gateway Arches officially light up Tuesday (May 20).
Thanks to collaborative funding between the City of Amarillo, Center City and Center City Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone 1, a restoration project for the Center City Gateway Arches began in September 2024.
The project includes LED lights which will allow the arches to display a wide array of colors – for example, red, white and blue lights during the July 4 holiday and red and green lights during the Christmas season.
“We are so excited for the Amarillo community to see this new and colorful version of the Center City Gateway Arches,” said Center City Executive Director Beth Duke. “Countless cars pass by these arches every day. The restoration project adds a completely new element to what has become a downtown landmark.”
The Center City Gateway Arches will officially light up with a public ceremony:
- Center City Gateway Arches lighting ceremony.
- Tuesday, May 20.
- The lighting ceremony will begin with speakers at 8 p.m. Mayor Cole Stanley will officially flip the switch to light up the Center City Gateway Arches around 8:30 p.m.
- A primary viewing area will be the grassy lot at Officewise, 1200 S. Taylor St. On-street parking is available.
