Greetings, Friend of Girl Scouts –
We want to follow-up on our invitation to have you join us for the upcoming Women of Distinction Luncheon held at the Amarillo Botanical Gardens on Thursday, March 20.
Our girls need to see real-life role models who defy expectations and challenge the norm, who see opportunities not hurdles, who take calculated risks to accomplish great things. It’s our privilege to recognize this year’s Women of Distinction Honorees who embody what it means to make the world a better place:
Rising Star – Aurora Anacker, Ambassador, Troop 5754
Outstanding Community Partner – Shi Lee’s Barbecue & Soul Food Café
Man Enough to Be a Girl Scout – Jason Crespin, Managing Artistic Director, Amarillo Little Theatre
Lifetime Achievement – Cynthia Walton, RN, WHNP-BC, Girl Scout Alum and Lifetime Member
Woman of Distinction – Liz M. Rascón-Alaniz, Ed.D., Executive Director, Heal the City
Will you join us?
Together, we are making a difference in the lives of girls in Amarillo and Canyon area. Thank you for your support of our girls!
