Special Amarillo City Council Workshop Set for Tuesday
AMARILLO – Amarillo City Council has scheduled a special workshop for Tuesday (March 26) at 8:30 a.m. The workshop will be open to the public and livestreamed on the City of Amarillo YouTube channel.
The workshop will be available online at: www.youtube.com/CityofAmarillo
The workshop will be at council chambers on the third floor of City Hall.
Discussion may include numerous broad topics such as governance and ends policies, public safety, infrastructure, development, community services, parks and recreation, water resources, public works, finance, council strategic pillars and milestones, policies and procedures, the Amarillo City Charter, ordinances, resolutions and other
matters related to the desired direction and plans for the city.
The council may reach broad consensus on the mission, values, priorities, expectations and
governance policies for the city. No final decisions or vote will be taken.
City Council will meet for its regularly scheduled meeting at 3 p.m. Tuesday (March 26). The regularly scheduled work session is scheduled for 1 p.m. All meetings will be in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall.
