The Texas Panhandle War Memorial along with the VA and Easy Thoughts Counseling announce, “War of the Wagons 3”.
The event will take place at the Texas Panhandle War Memorial on Friday August 28th from 6 pm until 9 pm.
This is a free family event focusing on our Veterans and mental health awareness.
Come out, bring your lawn chairs and coolers, taste some good food, have some family fun playing Pitch N’ Slide and enjoying the bouncy houses, listen to good music with Lindsey Lane, and see who will be Crowned “Warrior” of the year for best Specialty Plate, One Bite, Dessert and People’s Choice.

Anderson Model & Talent Agency & Momentum of Roses have teamed up to produce our first Fashion Show August 29 at 7:00pm
Anderson Talent Agency books actors & models for TV commercials, film and fashion shows locally and statewide! Our fashion show will feature 50 models & designer Matthew Rosas.
The local stores showing their clothes will be Aurora Luxe (formerly Marcella Furs) CB Boutique and Ripptags. Our show will be a fundraiser for Colorful Closets. The event will be at Arts in the Sunset in the Legacy Room.
Groove Anthem will be performing, we will have local artist booths, and we will have a 64 ft. Runway.

We’ll venture out on a short hike to watch the moon rise over the canyon wall, then continue on a short night hike that will loop us back to the parking lot. Things You Should Know:Meet: Juniper Dirt Parking Lot (Please note: it is a 20-minute drive from the park entrance to this location, see map of location in comments!)Bring: Comfortable clothing, water, and flashlight(preferably red). The Christmas in October Holiday Market in Amarillo, TX, is scheduled for Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25, 2025.
The event is a gift and craft show hosted by Sharing Hope Ministry at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex in the South Exhibit Hall

Ralph & Bob’s Show & Shine 2026 will be held Saturday, August 29, from 11am–3pm around the Armstrong County Square in Claude.
Krankers Car Klub of Amarillo is bringing the Show & Shine to Claude, and several of our local community members are helping with the event.
This event is especially meaningful to our Armstrong County because Ralph and Bob are longtime Claude residents and veterans who mean a great deal to our community. We are looking forward to a fun day while also recognizing them and others who have served.
The day will include Classic Cars | Music | Food Trucks | Honoring Those Who Served
