Sunset Marketown is coming summer 2024! On Saturday mornings from June 8-September 28 we will be hosting an artisans/artists market alongside the Golden Spread Farmers Market. This is a great opportunity for local creators to share and sell their work to the public. Please complete an interest form if you are a vendor interested in having a booth. We will be sending out applications to interested vendors in March and notifying vendors in April. The Golden Spread Farmers Market will take place under the north colonnade and the artisans/artists market will be in the AJ Swope Performance Plaza. AT&T to Open Connected Learning Center at Maverick Boys & Girls Club in Amarillo
A documentary following Amarillo residents as they navigate through the digital divide will also be screened
WHAT: AT&T is opening a new Connected Learning Center inside the Maverick Boys & Girls Club in Amarillo to provide free access to digital resources, including high-speed AT&T Fiber internet, Wi-Fi and Dell computers.
This center will be open to the community and is the first in Amarillo and the tenth in Texas. It will also provide free educational resources and mentoring. The company plans to offer more than 50 Connected Learning Centers by mid-2024.
At the event, AT&T will also screen the new documentary Route to Connection, which highlights the struggles and triumphs of Amarillo residents impacted by the digital divide.
Opportunities for interviews, photos, and video will be made available after the event.

On June 15th we are kicking off the Texas Route 66 Festival Finale with the FITNESS@KT|BLACK Route 66 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk with an after party back at our company campus. We’ll have live music by Ty Blackburn, food, drink and fun for the whole family.
The event is benefitting a portion of proceeds to a local nonprofit Veteran’s group called Hope Lives Here. They help veterans and rescued shelter dogs train to become service animals to local veterans at no cost – it’s pretty awesome!
We would also love if you could share the word in any way about the 5K. We are looking for registrants and are running an early bird pricing for $25 at the moment.
