Step into a world where the impossible becomes even more mysterious during Illusions After Dark: Tricks & Treats—a limited-time Halloween edition of Amarillo Magic Co.’s flagship theater experience.
This isn’t a haunted house, and it isn’t a scary show. Instead, we’ve combined the award-winning magic, comedy, audience participation, live animals, and astonishing illusions you expect with just the right amount of Halloween fun.
Enjoy impossible predictions, mind-reading, breathtaking sleight of hand, and magical surprises around every corner—all surrounded by the sights and sounds of the season. Join us for Pete’s Greenhouse’s first-ever evening workshop! Celebrate spooky season with an unforgettable night of plants, creativity, and fall fun as you create a one-of-a-kind carnivorous planter inspired by Halloween.
What’s Included
Your registration includes a container, a selection of fascinating carnivorous plants, potting materials, spooky decorative accents, plus light snacks and adult beverages to enjoy throughout the evening.
What to Expect
Spend the evening in the greenhouse learning about the unique world of carnivorous plants while our team guides you through creating a hauntingly beautiful planter. You’ll have the opportunity to customize your design with Halloween-inspired touches, making each creation uniquely your own.
Whether you’re a longtime plant collector or simply looking for a fun night out with friends, this workshop is the perfect way to celebrate the season. Come sip, snack, create, and enjoy an evening surrounded by all the magic of fall at Pete’s Greenhouse.

The Mad Scientist Ball brings together curious minds 21+ only to explore hands‑on experiments, surprising demos, and playful twists on the Discovery Center you’ve known over its five decades of service.
