The Juneteenth Commemorative Kickoff starts on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Black Historical Cultural Center, located at 901 North Hayden. Coach Michael Jackson, head coach of boys’ basketball at Caprock High School, will speak about the history of Juneteenth, and the community will raise the Juneteenth Flag.
