Route 66 Trains Planes and Automobiles
Jun 6 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

We have recreated the Santa Fe Railroad across the Texas Panhandle from Canadian, TX, to Clovis, NM, by constructing an HO-scale railroad layout set in the 1950-1970s era. In addition, we have an extensive G-scale garden railroad that will be operating during the event. We have real railroad cars from the Department of Energy nuclear transport train. Kids and adults can run model trains on the G-scale layout, tour the HO-scale layout, visit the real railroad cars. Arrangements are ongoing to have several automobile clubs show off their gems, and information on the Air and Space Museum.

Hello,

I would like to personally invite you to Brick & Elm Magazine’s first-ever women’s event.

Join me at the Amarillo Botanical Gardens June 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Guests will enjoy a brunch feast, an encouraging message from keynote speaker Shanna Peeples, the 2015 National Teacher of the Year, take part in elite networking with local business owners, and then go on a self-guided nursery/greenhouse crawl from 1 to 5 p.m. at the following locations:

Yellow Rose Plants
Nettie’s Greenhouse

Plant Babies

Windswept Prairie Plants

Women in our area need every opportunity to gather, support each other, and learn about the inner strength we all possess, don’t you agree? That’s why I’m so excited to introduce this event as the first of its kind.

I hope you’ll join us!
