One Day. One Time. One Hundred Years.
Some moments in history happen only once.
On October 31, 1926, at 1:26 PM, the world lost Harry Houdini—the legendary escape artist whose name became synonymous with magic, mystery, and the impossible.
Now, exactly 100 years later, The Amarillo Magic Co. invites you to join us for a once-in-a-century theatrical tribute presented at the exact hour of Houdini’s passing.
This is more than a magic show.
It is a celebration of the man whose imagination transformed an art form and continues to inspire magicians around the world.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll step into an atmosphere honoring one of history’s greatest entertainers. Explore our Museum of Magic & Oddities, featuring a special Houdini exhibit, before taking your seat for an unforgettable matinee experience.
As the theater clock approaches 1:26 PM, we’ll mark the centennial of Houdini’s passing before the curtain rises on a performance filled with astonishing illusions, impossible mysteries, mind reading, audience participation, and stories celebrating the remarkable life of the man who made the impossible believable.
Whether you’re a lifelong admirer of Houdini, fascinated by the history of magic, or simply looking for a truly unique live event, Houdini 100: The Centennial Celebration promises an afternoon unlike any other.
