Thank you so much for participating in our HOLE IN ONE FOR HUNGER on Patriot’s Day–Friday September 11, 2026 at Palo Duro Creek Golf Course in Canyon, Texas. There will be two flights available. Please be sure to click on the button for which flight you prefer; 8 am or 1:30 pm. Your participation allows us to “STOP HUNGER START LEANING & Provide HOPE” to over 1600+ children within the boundaries of Canyon ISD.

The community is invited to gather at the Texas Panhandle War Memorial for a ceremony commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Honor guards from area fire departments, law enforcement agencies and other public safety organizations will pay tribute to the heroes and victims of Sept. 11, 2001.

Join us as our local first responders come together to honor the lives lost and the heroes who answered the call on September 11, 2001.
Friday, September 11, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., we invite our community to gather at the Texas Panhandle War Memorial (4111 S. Georgia St.) for the 25th Anniversary 9/11 Ceremony.
This event will honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, recognize the courage and dedication of first responders, and celebrate the unity and resilience that continue to define our nation.
Everyone is welcome, families, friends, neighbors, schools, veterans, first responders, and community organizations. Together, we will reflect, express our gratitude, and reaffirm that we will never forget.
The Honor Guards of the Amarillo Fire Department, Amarillo Police Department, Potter County Sheriff Office, Potter County Fire-Rescue, Randall County Sheriff’s Office, Randall County Fire Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, and the public safety and support agencies of Potter and Randall Counties invite you to stand with us as we pay tribute to the heroes of September 11, 2001.
May we remember those we lost, honor those who served, and come together as one community to ensure their sacrifice is never forgotten.

FIRST RESPONDERS — PLEASE JOIN US!
On Friday, September 11, 2026, Schooler Funeral Home invites all first responders to join us for a Patriot Day Brunch, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until we run out of food!
We are located directly across the street from the Texas Panhandle War Memorial, and we’ll have coffee ready by 8:00 a.m. for those participating in the Memorial Service across the street. Stop by before or after the service—we would be honored to have you.
Come and go as your schedule allows. Take-out boxes will also be available for those who need to grab breakfast and get back on the go.
As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, this is our small way of saying thank you to the first responders who serve and protect our community each and every day.
We appreciate your service, your sacrifice, and your commitment to the Texas Panhandle.

Toddler Tracks is for explorers aged 5 and under and a caregiver. Wildcat Bluff will host a nature-themed storytime, do a craft or hands-on activity, and go for an optional nature walk on Libb’s Trail. This program will be held indoors if weather is below 40 degrees. Toddler Tracks is the second Friday of the month with two time slots at 9 am and 10 am. Included with admission, free for members.
