Let your little one’s imagination run wild as they explore textures, colors, and laughter in a safe and playful environment. Come make memories and masterpieces with us! $7 per kiddo ($5 cash in studio). Ages 1-6yrs welcome, must have an adult to participate with. Includes all materials. Join us for July’s 21+ only Summer Flicks pick, where we lean in to America’s 250th anniversary with ‘Hamilton: The Musical’! A kids-free atmosphere will make watching this Broadway breakout show a special event. Long-time fans can enjoy the professional recording in a one-of-a-kind atmosphere as it streams in the Discovery Center’s unique Space Theater. The movie starts at 7:30 pm, doors open 30 minutes before. Tickets for just the movie are $10 each. Tickets including a concession wristband are $25 each and cover admission, refreshments, and unlimited popcorn! The specialty cocktail and mocktail will not be available for purchase and are for concession wristband guests only. Seats are limited – our theater can only seat 90 people! Guests must be 21 or older. Valid ID required at check-in. Please Note: While the screening will be in our Space Theater, it will not be a dome-style movie, as that would ruin the quality of the show. We have worked to make sure that the quality, size of display, and sound will be sure to make you raise a glass!

The ALT Academy and co-producer Danny Bryant are thrilled to present the heartwarming and hilarious musical, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown this summer. Based on the iconic comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz, this musical follows a day in the life of everyone’s favorite blockhead, Charlie Brown, and features a live band thanks to generous support from John & Tiffany Laur.
As the Peanuts gang grapples with little and big questions, from what’s for dinner to what’s the meaning of life, they remind us of the power of friendship, resilience and kindness. You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown features 11 Academy students and is directed by Academy Director Harrison Stringer. Kristen Loyd provides Music Direction, and Anna Hill serves as Production Assistant. The cartoon world of the Peanuts is brought to life with the help of the Scenic Design by Tana Roberson and Costume Design by Brooklynn Johnson.
“I can’t wait to introduce a new generation of kids to the beloved Peanuts characters” said Academy Director Harrison Stringer. “This show is so witty, so wholesome, and the perfect way to kick off our 99th season of theatre at ALT.”
This lovely, family-friendly musical is being presented July 10th – 19th. Ticket prices are $22.00 for ages 12 and up and $18.00 for under 12.. In a partnership with the historic Ritz Theater in Wellington, TX, Charlie Brown is going on tour with 2 special shows on Saturday, July 25th. Tickets for these productions must be purchased through the Ritz Theater’s Box Office. ALT is also accepting donations forthe local SPCA at public performances. Be on the lookout for items requested.
