AAMW Offers Free Pet Vaccination/Microchip Clinics in May

 

AMARILLO – The City of Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare Department (AAMW) is offering free pet vaccination/microchip clinics for dogs and cats the first three Mondays in May.

The clinics begin Monday (May 5) and are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the AAMW shelter, 3501 S. Osage St.

The schedule is:

  • May 5, May 12 and May 19.

The clinic will include the DHPP vaccination for dogs (for distemper-parvo) and also vaccinations for rabies and microchipping.

The free clinics are provided in a partnership with the BISSELL Pet Foundation.

Pet owners must have their dogs on a leash or their cats in crates.

No appointments are necessary.
