Women’s History Luncheon: The 15th Annual Women’s History Luncheon and Lecture takes place this Friday, Aug. 22, at Polk Street Methodist Church, 11:30 a.m. to 1 pm. “This year’s luncheon will focus on women in tourism,” committee chair Claudia Stravato says. Several local women in the tourism industry will be honored at the event, including Paula Borchardt, Beth Duke, and Phyllis Nickum Golden. Tickets are $50 each. Call for reservations at 806-355-4125.
