Explore the world of Stone setting and Silversmithing with local Amarillo jeweler, Owen Salisbury! Over this evening course, you will learn how to solder and braze silver, as well as how to set a Cabochon style stone setting to create a one-of-a-kind Valentine’s day Heart necklace. All metals and tools will be provided for students by the teacher. Cabochon cut stones will be available for purchase at the class with $5, $10, and $20 priced options. However, you are welcome to bring any cabochons that you may already have.
Close-toed shoes and full-length pants are required as we will be working with hot materials.
