Hi Maverick Friends,
We can dream of taking our kids to the beach—but now the beach is coming to us! With 20 tons of sand arriving all the way from Padre Island, over 1,500 area AISD students and Boys & Girls Club members will get the chance to roll up their sleeves, build sandcastles, and experience the creativity, teamwork, and joy that only sand, and imagination can bring.
This event will be full of hands-on fun, family-friendly energy, and inspiring community partnerships. It’s a wonderful opportunity to capture kids discovering the coast right here in Amarillo.
We would love for you or one of your team members to join us in covering this special event and helping us share the story with the wider community!
We will see you there at Shark Beach @5 PM ! (1505 E Farm to Market Rd 1151)
