Like Marcella’s, we feature fine furs and accessories. But we have expanded further into fine textiles you can wear all year long. Our collection includes exquisite textiles designed for every season: beautifully soft alpaca ruanas and wraps, lightweight fur jackets, and refined rainwear that elevate any occasion. We aspire to cover the Panhandle in luxury, no matter the season.
We’ve also introduced a range of year-round accessories, from statement handbags and purses to sleek wallets. For men, our growing line features premium goods including travel bags and scarves. Coming soon, we’ll offer distinguished leather coats crafted for comfort and class.
Aurora Luxe is owned and operated by sisters MohNay and Monique Padilla, former team members at Marcella’s.
Meet MohNay: MohNay’s years at Marcella’s sparked a deep passion for caring for fur and leather—and for the people who wear them. As a former nurse, helping others has always been at the heart of what she does. Restoring and preserving garments became another way for her to serve this community and connect with so many wonderful people across the Panhandle.
Carrying forward what she learned from Marcie Rea, MohNay is honored to continue offering the kind of craftsmanship and care you won’t find anywhere else. Furriers have always clothed and cared for their communities, and she’s proud to do the same—whether through beautiful garments, thoughtful service, or simply showing that care never goes out of style.
Meet Monique: The visionary behind Aurora Luxe, Monique’s impeccable eye for detail and love of style guides every service and decision at Aurora Luxe—from restyling classic furs to curating fresh, distinctive pieces for the Panhandle. A true tastemaker, she blends artistry and intuition to find garments and accessories that bring out each client’s unique style. With a background in social media and event coordination, Monique’s creativity extends beyond fashion. Her years at Marcella’s helped her build lasting relationships across Amarillo, and she treasures the opportunity to continue those connections. Passionate about people and personal style, she finds joy in helping others discover that perfect piece—one that feels as beautiful as it looks.
