Amarillo, TX – January 16, 2024 – Potter County Precinct Two invites all residents of Potter County and Amarillo to a Town Hall meeting on Saturday, January 20th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at The Alamo Center, 1502 S. Cleveland, Amarillo, TX 79103.
Distinguished speakers at the event include:
– Potter County Precinct Two Commissioner Blair Schaffer
– Potter County Precinct Two Constable Georga Estrada
– Potter County Precinct Two Justice of the Peace Robert Taylor
– Amarillo City Council Place Two Don Tipps
In attendance and sported by:
– Representatives from the Amarillo Eastridge Neighborhood Association
– Representatives from the Amarillo Barrio Neighborhood Planning Committee
The Town Hall meeting aims to provide an open platform for local residents to interact with their elected and appointed officials. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share comments directly with community leaders.
In addition to fostering community dialogue, the Amarillo League of Women Voters will conduct a Civics 101 class. The Amarillo Public Health Department Mobile Clinic will be onsite, offering free or low-cost vaccines to attendees.
The event will also feature catering by Teddy Jack’s, generously sponsored by City Federal Credit Union, providing a relaxed environment for attendees to engage with one another.
