Signature Look
In our January/February issue, we followed along as local salon owner Lora Brown brought to Amarillo celebrity stylist Ronnie Stam of the Oribe Education Team for an in-person training session. The Salon by Lora Brown sells Oribe products, and Brown wanted Stam to teach her stylists Oribe’s signature cut.
“Education for us is like blood in your veins,” Brown told us. “Our industry is always changing. Education is key for anybody [who works] in my salon.” She invited Brick & Elm to coordinate a post-styling photo shoot, a collaboration with her salon as well as local retailers Raffkind’s, Marcella’s, Barnes Jewelry, Jo Latham, Schlegel’s and local fashion designer Matthew Rosas of Momentum of Roses. The photo shoot took place at Arts in the Sunset.
