ROUTE 66 ROAD RACE RETURNS FOR YEAR TWO, PARTNERING WITH TRANSFORMATION PARK
AMARILLO, TX – The Fitness@KT|Black Run+Walk is back for its second year as part of the 2025 Texas Route 66 Festival
Finale, bringing the community together for an exciting event along historic RT 66 while also making an impact locally. This year, the event will benefit Transformation Park, a new local nonprofit dedicated to serving Amarillo’s homeless population by providing essential resources, housing assistance, and pathways to employment located right on RT 66.
The race is set for June 14, 2025 at 8:00 AM and will include multiple race distances, catering to runners and walkers of all levels. Participants will enjoy a scenic course along Route 66, a participant swag bag, and the exclusive VIP After Party for those looking to celebrate post-race.
