Canyon, Randall, West Plains, and Midway Alternative Team Up to Host “CISD Finance Your Future Night” for High School Seniors and Parents
CANYON, Texas (January 2024) – In a collaborative effort, Canyon High School, Randall High School, West Plains High School, and Midway Alternative High School in the Canyon Independent School District (CISD), are proud to announce the “CISD Finance Your Future Night.” This event, dedicated to empowering high school seniors and their parents with the knowledge for lifelong success, is scheduled for Thursday, February 1st, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM in the Conference Room at Happy State Bank Stadium.
This informative come-and-go event is part of CISD’s mission to empower students for lifelong success. It offers a platform for families to engage with financial experts, gain crucial insights into planning for college finances, and receive direct assistance with FAFSA applications and scholarship information.
Event highlights include:
- One-on-one FAFSA assistance
- Detailed scholarship application information
- Q&A sessions with financial experts
- Giveaways and a drawing for several scholarships sponsored by Education Credit Union and the Amarillo College Foundation
This event is open to all high school seniors and their parents in the Canyon Independent School District.
