CISD Hosts “Finance Your Future Night” for High School Seniors and Parents

CANYON, Texas (January 2025) – Canyon High School, Randall High School, West Plains High School, and Midway Alternative High School are teaming up to present the “CISD Finance Your Future Night,” an event designed to empower high school seniors and their families with the tools and knowledge to plan for lifelong success.

The event is Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM in the Conference Room at Happy State Bank Stadium.

This informative, come-and-go evening will provide invaluable resources for families

preparing for college and career opportunities. Attendees will have the chance to meet financial experts, explore scholarship options, and receive hands-on assistance with FAFSA applications—all aligned with CISD’s mission to empower students for lifelong success.

Event Highlights:

• One-on-one FAFSA assistance
• Scholarship application guidance
• Q&A sessions with financial experts
• College admission representatives from area institutions
• Giveaways and a scholarship drawing, generously sponsored by Education Credit Union and the Amarillo College Foundation

The event is open to all high school seniors and their parents in Canyon Independent School District.
