Amarillo Women’s Network Honors Three Trailblazing Women in the Community

Amarillo, TX — The Amarillo Women’s Network (AWN) is proud to announce that it will be honoring three extraordinary women at a special awards ceremony on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. These women have made significant contributions to our community, each in their own remarkable way.

Tiffaney Bellflower, founder of Homeless Heroes, will be receiving the Bettering the World Honoree award for her relentless dedication to improving the lives of those less fortunate. Through her work, Tiffaney has provided countless individuals with the resources, support, and hope they need to overcome homelessness.

Jodi Thomas, a world-renowned author known for her best-selling novels, will be honored with the Career Achievement Award. Jodi’s exceptional career and contributions to literature have brought recognition to our community on an international stage, inspiring countless readers and writers alike.

Lucinda Russell, with her extensive career at the Texas Department of Public Safety, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. Lucinda’s unwavering commitment to public safety and her leadership have made a lasting impact on the state of Texas, ensuring the safety and security of our citizens.

The ceremony will take place at the Amarillo National Bank’s Skyline Room, located on the 16th floor at 410 S. Taylor. Guests are invited to arrive at 5:00 PM, with the ceremony beginning promptly at 5:30 PM.

**Light hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be provided.

This event is open to the public, and all are welcome to join us in celebrating the achievements of these remarkable women.
