Book Club Features Local Author Marcy McKay’s Debut Novel
The 4th Tuesday Book Club will feature local author Marcy McKay’s debut novel from 2015, Pennies from Burger Heaven (900+ Amazon reviews), on Tuesday, September 24 at 11 am at the Amarillo Public Library’s Southwest Branch (details below). All are welcome. 📕
Pennies from Burger Heaven is about 12-year Copper Daniels, who “lives” at the cemetery. She and her mama spend their nights sleeping beneath the Warrior Angel for protection, and their days battling the mean streets of the city, struggling to survive.
