Amarillo, Tx – The Don Harrington Discovery Center’s third program for their Summer Speaker Series is August 4th from 4:45 pm to 6:15 pm and is open for all community members to attend for no cost.

- Helps teach clinical and professional skills and prepares students for unique challenges that come when practicing in rural and regional communities
The Summer Speaker Series will coincide with DHDC’s Girls Who Science program. The
program is held on the first Monday of every month, featuring women in research-based roles to inspire families, students, children, or other interested individuals. The Summer Speaker Series is free for attendees and held in the Don Harrington Discovery Center Auditorium.
After hearing from their guest speakers, the Discovery Center will also provide an activity exclusively for members of their Girls Who Science club, girls aged 8 to 18. Other attendees are welcome to stay and explore DHDC’s East wing or ask the speakers further questions.
Snacks and water will also be provided for attendees.
The Girls Who Science program is supported by The Moody Foundation.
