Hello everyone,
We are excited to announce that our Wildland Team is receiving a new UTV and trailer thanks to Amarillo National Bank and The 100 Club. This will help our Paramedic Team to extract patients from remote locations during wildfires and other emergency operations.
This will happen Tuesday April 30th 2024 at Station 7 (AMA Blvd. & Grand) at 1pm. Please come out if you can!
AMARILLO – The Amarillo Fire Department is proud to announce our Wildland Paramedic Team will be receiving a new UTV and trailer tomorrow at Station 7. Thanks to a partnership between Amarillo National Bank and The 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle, this much needed asset was made possible. This UTV will be used to extract patients from remote locations.
The total cost of this donation, along with accessories, was $50,000. ANB and The 100 Club split the cost at $25,000 each. We are grateful for their generosity. While recovery from wildfires is crucial, getting prepared for them is just as important.
