The Amarillo Community Prayer Breakfast invites the people of the Texas Panhandle to gather on Tuesday, November 24, for a morning of prayer, gratitude, and encouragement as we begin Thanksgiving week together. This annual tradition brings together individuals from across our community to give thanks to God for His many blessings and to seek His wisdom and guidance for our families, our community, and our local, state, and national leaders.
This year’s featured speaker is Jordan Raynor, a leading voice in the faith and work movement whose message has inspired millions of Christians around the world to see their everyday work as an opportunity to glorify God.
Jordan is the bestselling author of numerous books, including Five Mere Christians, The Sacredness of Secular Work, Redeeming Your Time, and The Creator in You. Through his books, keynote presentations, devotionals, and podcasts, he encourages believers to connect the Gospel with their daily work and live with greater purpose and intentionality.
In addition to his writing and speaking ministry, Jordan serves as Executive Chairman of Threshold 360, a venture-backed technology company he previously led as CEO. Earlier in his career, he founded and led several successful businesses, was twice selected as a Google Fellow, and served in the White House under President George W. Bush. A sixth-generation Floridian, Jordan lives in Tampa with his wife and their three daughters, where they are active members of The Church at Odessa.
“We are excited to welcome Jordan Raynor to Amarillo,” said Mary Bralley, Amarillo Community Prayer Breakfast committee member. “His message is a timely reminder that every vocation has eternal significance and that God can use each of us to make an impact wherever He has called us to serve.”
The community is invited to join us at 6:25 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at the Amarillo Civic Center North Exhibit Hall for this inspiring morning of fellowship, worship, and prayer.
