Amarillo, Texas – Rudy’s “Country Store” and Bar-B-Q is bringing back its annual Pink “Cup for a Cause” campaign this October with a brand-new cup design benefiting breast cancer charity partners, including Panhandle Breast Health (PBH).
Beginning Oct. 1, guests at Rudy’s locations in Amarillo, Lubbock, El Paso and Midland can make a $1 donation to receive the newly designed 32-ounce Pink Cup. Guests who donate in-store will also receive a coupon for a free large drink to use on their next visit.
The Pink Cup will be available throughout October both in Rudy’s restaurants and through the company’s online ordering system, including curbside pickup and delivery. For those who don’t live near a Rudy’s location, there is also an option to make a $10 donation online and have 10 Pink Cups shipped directly to them.
Since launching its first Cup for a Cause campaign in October 2012, Rudy’s has raised more than $4 million for breast cancer initiatives, military charities, hurricane relief and flood relief. This October, Rudy’s hopes to add to that total by asking guests to make a $1 donation in support of its breast cancer charity partners.
“Our team is excited to bring Pink Cup back to October,” said Pete Bassett, VP of Operations at Rudy’s. “We have some great charity partners that use these funds to provide people with mammograms, basic essentials, education and more.” The 2025 campaign was postponed as Rudy’s focused its fundraising efforts on relief for the historic Central Texas July floods.
Panhandle Breast Health is one of Rudy’s breast cancer charity partners. A local nonprofit, PBH works year-round to increase early detection and reduce breast cancer deaths in the Texas Panhandle by providing education and removing financial barriers to mammograms. PBH provides free mammograms to uninsured residents in the region’s 26 counties.
“We are incredibly grateful for Rudy’s continued support,” said Judy Neill, PBH Executive Director. “The Pink ‘Cup for a Cause’ campaign not only raises important funds but also helps raise awareness about the importance of early detection. Every $1 donation helps Panhandle Breast Health connect uninsured women with potentially lifesaving breast cancer screenings.”
So far in 2026, PBH has helped 145 women access free mammograms. Anyone who is uninsured and needs a mammogram can contact Panhandle Breast Health at 806-331-4710 or visit panhandlebreasthealth.org to complete an online application.
Join Rudy’s and Panhandle Breast Health this October. Pick up a Pink Cup, make a $1 donation and help make early detection possible for women across the Texas Panhandle.
For more information, contact PBH at (806) 331-4710.
