Explore the world of Stone setting and Silversmithing with local Amarillo jeweler, Owen Salisbury! In this class, you will learn how to solder and braze silver, as well as how to set a Cabochon style stone setting to create a one-of-a-kind ring. All metals and tools will be provided for students by the teacher. Cabochon cut stones will be available for purchase at the class with $5, and $10 priced options. However, you are welcome to bring any cabochons that you may already have. Long pants and close-toed shoes are required as we will be working hot materials.

Amarillo Little Theatre presents Come From Away at the ALT Allen Shankles Mainstage, Sept. 3–20.
Based on the true story of the days following September 11, Come From Away follows the people of Gander, Newfoundland, who welcomed thousands of stranded travelers when 38 planes were diverted to their small town. What began as an ordinary day became an international story of hospitality, music, resilience and unexpected connection.
With book, music and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, Come From Away is an ensemble musical about strangers becoming neighbors and ordinary people showing up for one another in an extraordinary moment.
