Hope McCoy  PleasantValley&RiverroadRevitalization  July event

Hi DJ,

But our Revitalization Non-Profit is giving our Pleasant Valley and River Road residents a fun day. And we’re looking for resource partners to come do some community outreach to our far north community. If you can think of anyone/business that would like to set up a booth, that would sure help make this FIRST TIME event AWESOME!

Thank you for all you do. Love and Hugs,

Hope

Dear Community Partner,

We are a new grassroots nonprofit organization, the Pleasant Valley River Road Revitalization Group, Inc. focused on strengthening community connections in the Pleasant Valley/River Road area of Amarillo.
We would like to invite your organization to partner with us at our Pleasant Valley Park Community Picnic & Resource Fair. This event will also serve as a celebration of our first grant award supporting our Mural Initiative Project, which aims to bring public art and community pride to our neighborhood. The picnic will be on July 18th, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. At Pleasant Valley Park – 700 E. Central St. Organizations are encouraged to show up sooner to set up their space.
Our goal is to bring families, neighbors, and local organizations together to ensure residents in the far north Amarillo area feel fully connected to the broader Amarillo community and are aware of the resources and services available to them. We would be honored to have your organization attend by:
• providing free information and resources
• meeting local families and residents
• sharing available programs and services
• helping build stronger community relationships
This will be a FREE, family-friendly event focused on community support, health, safety, education, and neighborhood connection.
Thank you for considering partnering with us to help make this a positive and meaningful event for our residents.
Sincerely,
Hope c McCoy – Volunteer Chair Person
