The event is a gift and craft show hosted by Sharing Hope Ministry at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex in the South Exhibit Hall

  • Location: South Exhibit Hall, Amarillo Civic Center Complex, 401 S. Buchanan St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
  • Dates & Times:
    • Friday, Oct. 24: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
    • Saturday, Oct. 25: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Admission: Weekend admission is typically $8.00 at the door (Cash, Credit, or Venmo); children 12 and under are usually free.
    • Highlights:
      • Shopping: Over 100 unique booths featuring home décor, boutique clothing, jewelry, and handmade items.
      • Bake Sale: Known as the largest bake sale in the Texas Panhandle, featuring decorated cookies, cakes, pies, and specialty mixes.
      • Special Events: Past years have included a “Ladies Night Out” VIP shopping event and photo opportunities with Santa.

Independence Day, known colloquially as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence, which was ratified by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, establishing the United States of America.

The Founding Father delegates of the Second Continental Congress declared that the Thirteen Colonies were no longer subject (and subordinate) to the monarch of BritainKing George III, and were now united, free, and independent states.[1] The Congress voted to approve independence by passing the Lee Resolution on July 2 and adopted the Declaration of Independence two days later, on July 4.[1]
