The Jericho Gap 5k/10k Fun Run or Walk
Jun 7 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Get ready to run straight into history on the toughest stretch of the Mother Road! Run the Gap celebrates 100 years of Route 66 and the spirit of Jericho, Texas – a place once famous for its muddy roads, fearless travelers, and Texas-sized grit. This isn’t your average run. You’ll race across the open plains of the Texas Panhandle, where the sky stretches forever, and the echoes of the old highway still whisper stories of adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, this is your chance to make history on the same ground where travelers once fought the legendary Jericho Gap. Join us for a day of community, celebration, and nostalgia, complete with music, local flavor, and that unmistakable Route 66 energy.

Mark your calendar: June 7, 2026 | Race starts 9:00 AM.
