 SAFER INTERNET DAY 

Every year on the second Tuesday in February, Safer Internet Day brings tools, education, and awareness to create a safer internet for both kids and adults. From cyberbullying and identity theft to fraud and human trafficking, the internet can be a frightening place. Safer Internet Day and ConnectSafely.org aim to make the internet a better place.

HOMELESS TO HOUSEWARMED
This week, Brian and Sara are stepping into a brand-new chapter — moving from homelessness into their own apartment. It’s a huge milestone, and now we’re coming together to help turn an empty space into a warm, livable home.
Right now, they are starting from scratch and need many of the basics most of us already have. If you’re able to help, we’re collecting new or gently used house-warming essentials, including:Queen-size bed frame & mattress
 Bedding (sheets, pillows, blankets)
 Kitchen basics (plates, cups, silverware, pots & pans)
 Small appliances (coffee maker, toaster, microwave)
 Towels & laundry basics
 Cleaning and household supplies
If donating items isn’t easy, financial donations are incredibly helpful and will be used to purchase exactly what they still need as move-in happens.

National Shut-In Visitation Day on February 11th serves as a reminder to bring some cheerful company to people who are unable to leave their homes. Visiting a person who is shut-in makes a positive difference in that person’s life. #ShutInVisitationDay
