FESTIVUS
Each year on December 23rd, Festivus commemorates a holiday episode of the television comedy, Seinfeld. In 1997, the popular television comedy brought Festivus to the masses when Frank Costanza (played by Jerry Stiller) explains he invented the holiday in response to the commercialism of Christmas. Its slogan is “A Festivus for the rest of us.” #Festivus
It is time for the 29th annual Amarillo EnterPrize Challenge.
The business plan competition opens in January, and eligible business owners in Potter and Randall counties will have the opportunity to compete for up to $100,000 in growth funding.
To get started, participants must attend one mandatory orientation session, which covers eligibility requirements, program expectations and how to prepare their five-year business plan.

CHRISTMAS EVE
Christmas Eve on December 24 kicks off a series of holiday traditions. Some are ancient practices with a modern spin, while others date back hundreds of years. #ChristmasEve
NATIONAL EGGNOG DAY
National Eggnog Day raises a holiday toast once a year on the day before Christmas. Also known as egg milk punch, eggnog is a popular drink throughout the United States during the holidays. #NationalEggnogDay

Calling young artists and inventors! Immerse yourself in the mind of Leonardo da Vinci– building, sketching, testing, and designing, just like the “Renaissance Man” himself. Hands-on activity tables explore his contributions to art, science, anatomy and engineering. Will you recreate da Vinci’s work, or add an exciting twist that’s all your own?
Included with membership or general admission.
Leonardo’s Lab, a traveling exhibit, was developed by Carnegie Science Center (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) and produced in partnership with the Sciencecenter (Ithaca, New York).
