Saturday, December 6, 2025, marks the 20th annual Shop With A Cop event, which will take place at the Walmart in Canyon. Each year, Walmart generously donates funds to allow underprivileged children from Canyon ISD elementary schools to purchase Christmas gifts alongside local law enforcement.
This year, we are expecting approximately 100 children to participate in the event. Employees from the Randall County Sheriff’s Office, Randall County Fire Department, Canyon Police Department, and Canyon Fire Department will be present to assist the children as they shop for their Christmas gifts.

| DETAILS: Potter County Sheriff’s Office in collaboration with the Potter County Law Enforcement Association and the Potter County Benefit Board will be hosting our annual Shop with the Sheriff, this Saturday 12-6-2025 at 8am till about 10am at the Walmart on Tascosa Rd and Amarillo Blvd. We have all of our SRO’s and lots of staff that will be there to help kids find stuff for Christmas. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be there to ring in the Christmas spirit as well! The kids have already be located by our SRO’s and school staff.

This is the perfect class to dip your toe into the world of glassblowing. Students will work 1 on 1 with an instructor to create their unique glass item. Choices range from flowers to ornaments to paperweights. Items will need time to cool down and will not be ready to take home until the following business day.

Visit participating ORNAMENT STOPS (businesses) to collect your FREE ornament. (List comes with the KIT)
Join one of our BUILD a WREATH WORKSHOPS at Old Tascosa Brewery OR Texas Route 66 Visitors Center where volunteers will be glad to help you with your Wreath. Friday Nov. 28th from 1-4pm, Saturday Nov. 29th from 1-4pm & Saturday Dec 6th 1-4pm.
