The Panhandle Great 25 Nurses is celebrating its 8th year honoring nurses for their selfless contributions to patients, families, and communities in the Texas Panhandle. Registered Nurses continue to be recognized for the highest ethical standards as we provide skilled care at the bedside, lead and mentor other nurses, educate students and staff, and work tirelessly to improve the health and quality of life for all.
Please consider nominating a worthy RN colleague, family member, friend, or neighbor for our 2024 Panhandle Great 25 Nurses award. We always encourage you to interview the nurse you want to nominate so you can include their inspiring stories in the following four categories of your nomination:
- Leadership Qualities
- Service to the Community
- Compassionate Caregiver
- Significant Contributions to the Profession
To nominate a deserving nurse, go to https://www.panhandlegreat25.com/nominate. Nominations opened June 1st and close at midnight August 31st.

We will be sending out applications to interested vendors in March and notifying vendors in April. The Golden Spread Farmers Market will take place under the north colonnade and the artisans/artists market will be in the AJ Swope Performance Plaza. If you are a grower and interested in having a booth, please reach out to the Golden Spread Farmers Market via their Facebook page.
