The Maverick Boys & Girls Club of Amarillo is excited to announce the grand finale of their Performing Arts Summer Camp with an end-of-summer kids performance and cast party on August 2nd at 6:30 PM. This event will be held at New Light Ministries, where young performers will showcase the incredible talents and skills they have honed throughout the 8-week summer camp.
The Performing Arts Summer Camp, a new initiative launched by the Maverick Boys & Girls Club of Amarillo, has been a remarkable journey for 120 children from the Amarillo community. Designed to ignite creativity and nurture talent, the camp offered an immersive program encompassing choir, theatre, vocals, and dance. Participants, ranging in age from 5 to 18, spent the summer working with experienced instructors to develop their artistic abilities.
On August 2nd, these talented young performers will take to the stage to present a variety of performances, demonstrating the hard work and dedication they have invested in their craft. Friends, family, and community members are invited to attend this special event and celebrate the achievements of these aspiring artists. The evening will include a festive cast party, providing a chance for the performers to celebrate and enjoy their accomplishments with their peers and loved ones.
The Maverick Boys & Girls Club of Amarillo remains committed to providing enriching experiences for children, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder any child from pursuing their artistic dreams. The full tuition for the Performing Arts Summer Camp was generously covered for all members who successfully passed auditions, emphasizing the organization’s dedication to accessible and inclusive programming. Join us on August 2nd to witness the magic of the performing arts and support our community’s talented youth.
