Canyon Chamber Annual Golf Classic

Please join the Canyon Chamber of Commerce for the 26th Annual Classic Golf Tournament!

The tournament will take place on
Friday, May 31, 2024, at Palo Duro Creek Golf Course.

Morning Flight:
7am Registration, 8am Shotgun Start
Afternoon Flight:
11am Registration, 1pm Shotgun Start

Lunch will be served at Noon for both flights. Dinner will follow the afternoon flight.

The annual Opportunity School Board Valentine’s Day Cookie Sale is back ready to spread a little love around Amarillo and Canyon. Surprise your sweetheart, your co-workers or your child’s teacher with two dozen delicious thumbprint cookies wrapped in a decorative box.  The cookies will be delivered by volunteers anywhere in Amarillo or Canyon on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14. Each box is $25. Orders must be in by Friday, February 9 at 11:59 pm.*

The WT Enterprise Center is starting a new program for entrepreneurs to invest in their financial leaders. The Financial Leadership program is led by Eric Alexander. He was also so successful and brilliant as the CFO for Happy State Bank that he started his own business called Six Arrows Consulting. The program begins on Feb. 20, and is a 10-month program that will provide finance leaders with group sessions and individualized coaching to explore keys to effectiveness and strategies for personal and professional growth in their vital roles. The cost is $3,000 and space is limited to 15 participants. Every year, Safer Internet Day brings tools, education, and awareness to create a safer internet for both kids and adults. From cyberbullying and identity theft to fraud and human trafficking, the internet can be a frightening place. Safer Internet Day and ConnectSafely.org aim to make the internet a better place
